Can I try it for free?
Yes. The Basic tier is free forever with 10 documents per month and 5 messages per day. It's enough to get started and see if the tool fits your workflow.
What counts as a document?
Each PDF or EPUB you upload counts as one document, regardless of length. Supplementary materials linked to a main paper count as separate documents.
Do quotas reset?
Document upload limits reset on the 1st of each month. Message limits reset daily at midnight UTC. Storage is cumulative—it only decreases when you delete documents.
What's the difference between Individual and Group Leader?
Individual is for solo researchers. Group Leader lets you create a team with shared documents, pooled quotas, and the ability to invite members. Your whole lab can query the same knowledge base.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrade instantly to get more capacity. If you downgrade, you keep read access to your documents but can't upload until you're under the new tier's limits.
